Life with Allodynia from Fibromyalgia means constant adaptation: even gentle strokes can hurt. Sometimes my hubby and I would watch a movie, and his soft strokes would hurt like a burn! So now we use a 'safe word'🍍for when he exceeds the amount my skin can take (It's usually 3-4 strokes in the same place). This alone could change a life for a normie, yet it's just ONE OF MANY chronic pain challenges we face.

I understand you... I mean, of course no one would argue with trying to save the lives of people who overdose, but of course the efficacy of pain meds matter, our lives matter just as much as the lives we're looking to save... I had real high hopes for this... Just annoying. We got to keep fighting and keep advocating I guess...

It would be interesting to hear what doctors say about this, if you ask your doctor, I'd love to know what they said! Many people shared with me studies showing mixed results, or pointing to it being not affective, but even still, I'd love to know what real doctors of real FibroFairies say ❤️
