Today is my final day serving as the acting U.S. Executive Director at the @WorldBank Group. It's been truly an honor and privilege leading the U.S. government's shareholding and delegation at the #WorldBank for almost two years.   Below please find a link to my final blog post and farewell message to the World Bank Board, Management and more than 10,000 staff members that truly are the heart and soul of this great institution tirelessly dedicated to furthering its mission: to #endpoverty and promote #prosperity on a #livableplanet. As one of the last times that I can officially say this in my current capacity, on behalf of the United States Government and the American people, thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do to help this amazing institution that is truly a beacon of #hope for the world.   I remain forever grateful, wish you all the best and Godspeed.

My op-ed in today's @MiamiHerald on how the U.S. government's ceding ground on the world stage will lead to our adversaries filling the void, and the importance of engaging multilaterally - as well as bilaterally - with our allies and partners to continue to advance our interests around the world. We can engage multilaterally and still put our country's interests first. If we choose not to engage and lead, we’re not putting the American people and our interests first.
