UPDATE: All Fairfax Connector bus service remains suspended Friday, February 23. We are continuing to monitor contract talks between Connector’s operations contractor, Transdev, and the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 689, which represents Connector drivers and mechanics.
Fairfax Connector expects to resume regular operations with full weekday service on all routes tomorrow, Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, as the ATU Local 1764 and Transdev have signed a back to work agreement. (1)
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Fairfax Connector customers will be required to enter and exit the bus using the rear doors. This does not apply to customers who need to use a wheelchair ramp. Fare collection on buses will also be temporarily suspended.
