@GeorgePapa19 We haven't used masks in Norway either. The medical advice we were given that masks were for those who are sick, for doctors, nurses etc. Benefits: 1. Saves masks for medical staff. 2. Reduces public hysteria. When people panic they shop like crazy resulting in empty stores.

@ernesturtasun Totalitarianism: 1. Individuals are presumed guilty until proven innocent. 2. Your property is assumed to be a result of moneylaundering until you prove the opposite. Problem: authorities can just claim that your proof of property is insufficient. They don't need evidence.

@PeterSweden7 Once the infrastructure is in place, the authorities can change the QR code of residents to red if they are demonstrating against government policy. This '100' passes per year can be changed to anything, including no pass at all. The creed of gov't: - The deal has been altered.

@TheCreation @GeorgePapa19 Yeah, the longer we are exposed to abnormal conditions, the further we drift from normality. I was working through covid-19 in March-April and noticed that my thinking was a bit out of normal. When lockdown ended I had to re-acclimatize to normality. We need to stay grounded.

@elonmusk @saifedean On Reddit, civil, logical and respectful arguments are often downvoted to oblivion if the person making the argument is having the wrong opinion according to the attacking herd.

@DeepStateExpose He's saying that America didn't go back to the moon due to lacking resources. When he says "we didn't", he's referring to her question; "we didn't go back again". He has patches of moon-to-earth images, is proud over the accomplishment and wants humans to go to Mars as well.

@vestager @songpinganq @Europarl_EN @EUCouncil @JerkovicRomana Hell no. You are implementing CCP style central planning. Social credit systems requires CBDC's, which in turn requires digital ID's and movement licenses. (Covid passports/Green passports) This is only necessary for those that seek full totalitarianism.

@jacobin Socialism is a system of central planning, surveillance and control; the government micromanage society and individuals from the top-down in the manner of a Monopoly corporation. Individuals are taxed into poverty, their savings are evaporated via moneyprinting.

@MrAndyNgo To be fair they protect white criminal scum as well, rapists, child molesters and the likes. Rioters and criminals must pay reparations for the damages, deaths and injuries they have caused. Long prison sentences is a start.

@JoshWalkos I have always had inner monologue, visualization and emotions at the same time. I can tune them down if I need to via meditation but I generally prefer to have the full range. Part of the joy of reading is having both the internal monologue and visually imagining a scenery.

@giacomozucco @VoletCom I wrote a thread some time ago that explains the game theory why taint and AML regulations will fail over time. TLDR: Competition brings capital and skill to free market jurisdictions, while backwards jurisdictions lose capital and skill.

A few thoughts on the game theory of tainted bitcoin. Thread 🧵 TLDR; taint cannot work over time. Let's visualize a possible scenario where a jurisdiction, for example the EU, decides to classify certain bitcoin addresses as tainted. [...]

Backing up the IMF article from 5th of February 2019. Cashing In: How to Make Negative Interest Rates Work, by Ruchir Agarwal and Signe Krogstrup. I recorded a video of this article in 2019 (attaching it in the next tweet) if the article disappears.

@25azza25 @PeterDClack @TommyNotAndy You are simply making excuses for the authoritarians in charge. The transition will take some time but the end goal of Agenda2030 is a totalitarian society. Why? Because central planning ideas are so incompetently bad that they have to be forced upon people.

@MrAndyNgo @elonmusk Since the Far Left is communism, nazism and fascism (all collectivist, central planning ideologies), being far right - voluntarism and free markets - is rather a proper civilized position.
