Started season two of #loveisblind and already relieved to see the contestants are older than in season one

Friday consisted of watching awful horror movies with my dear friends, enjoying some time alone, and spending most of my evening crying while listening to an audiobook. I give this Friday 4 stars.

I’ve told some of my friends when my mental health is on unstable ground I usually start watching reality TV.. and I may or may not have finished season one of Love is Blind in less than a week. 😬

Seasonal depression really is something, the sun is out and we went for a walk today and I’m like.. am I cured? No, but I’ll take the joy wherever I can ✨

One of these days I’ll have my shit together and my house will be cleaned, I’ll successfully meal plan and do fun things on the weekend. Today is not that day though 😭😂

All that to say the internet is a terrifying concept and when you sprinkle in some anxiety and a need for acceptance it really makes for a doozy of a time.

The endless doom scrolling, the analyzing of someone’s video and wondering can I do that? Should I do that? At the end of the day what is the point? I get nervous I’m spending so much time in a digital world I don’t know what my goals are for my actual life.

However I would be lying if I said I wasn’t sometimes chasing that dopamine of being noticed for what I’ve shared. Is it good enough, will it be widely appreciated? Who 👏🏽 cares. This is followed by, wondering if I even want to be on social media at all.
