This is so relatable, Janet - spot on! Smartly done work markets itself to as far as so many people and spaces you have not met or rather been respectively. The even becomes easier at some point because in such instances, you don't do much of the talking - your work already did!
Someone asked me what the best referral strategy is. Try this: be so good at what you do that your clients do the marketing for you. Your personal brand should leave people saying, ‘You have to work with Janet Machuka!’
