Would any #Mouthwashing artists be interested in collaborating on a #Balatro mod? Each artist would take a few Jokers from the game and make Mouthwashing art for them! :]

i say this so lightheartedly but you guys do not need to explain to me why this happens. i know why it happens. that’s why i find it very very interesting. again it is not a criticism i’m literally just saying what i see happening

@penguinsuanni never did i say this was a bad thing. i am making an observation about how people act. i think its interesting what people are willing to forgive / look past in characters (cannibalism, mutilation, murder) and what they aren’t (rape).

@penguinsuanni because i enjoy the characters and setting, i enjoy the fan works that come out of it, i wish it was longer so i’m glad people have made additional content about the game. if you played it and are done, cool! but a lot of people want to keep exploring these characters and such

@penguinsuanni 1. people have made bigger fandoms with less so i don’t think that matters tbh 2. i said if jimmy wasn’t a rapist people wouldn’t be so anti-fandom because every argument i’ve seen against it having a fandom is about him raping anya or another topic directly related to that.

@penguinsuanni i’m not gonna talk to you if you’re gonna be rude for no reason man c’mon. there’s a LOT of dialogue in mouthwashing for a game of this length. i also just don’t understand why minimal dialogue = minimal fandom?

@BeninjaLIVE @gallowsglare sorry but "jimmy's whole thing is that he's a rapist" is enough to tell me you didn't fully understand the message of the game honestly. the game is about manipulation and abuse, and that includes the manipulation and abuse that everyone goes through. it's not about rape alone.
