Jordan celebrated in the same way, so I’m not sure I understand why the referee sent Aymen Hussein off. If Iraq end up losing this will become big controversy #AsianCup2023

India fans caught a LOT of slack at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Yet some of the highest attendances at #AsianCup2023 are associated with India games. And some of the best pre-match vibes have been thanks to Indian fan groups. Not enough people are talking about them!

I can’t sleep. I’ve been rewatching all the goals from the last night, so…. 🎥👇 Here’s a thread of fans going wild after their country scored in the #AsianQualifiers this week:

@fiago7 Because they paid for it 💰 . Nah but on a serious note, both 2019 and 2023 they had much less pressure and expectation. They’re actually a very good team on technical level but on the mental side unlike Saudi (who’ve played at many World Cups) they just didnt cut it.

So, let’s talk about the Saudi National Team. 1 win in 6 games, with the worst attack in the #AsianQualifiers. ❓Why is this happening, and what has been the general theme of fan reactions?. 🇮🇹🇫🇷 Lack of preparation after the departure of Renard, and bringing in Mancini - who

All the focus has been on Al Taamari because he plays in Europe, but this guy has arguably been Jordan’s best player. Yazan Al Naimat 🔥 . #AsianCup2023

Interesting. You earn £100,000 for winning the FA Women's Super League. 🏴 . In Saudi Arabia, the winner of the Saudi Women's 2nd tier earns £108,000. 🇸🇦. The winner of the Saudi Women's Premier League? £435,000! . When will the media talk about this?. #WomensFootball

So content creators from around the world have been paid to come to Saudi and cover the games this weekend, but I, one of the only real Saudi League content creators in English - based in Riyadh - was told there was no space. If I speak….
I can't lie, I'm frustrated. Last year I hit nearly 1M followers on Tiktok after doing this music challenge and nothing ever ended up coming out of it. I couldn't convert it into becoming a full time content creator and no brand was keen on working with me because "my audience.

@HrayrDallakyan @Reinlelgh @433 Yeah but Saudi clubs have already been the most dominant in the ACL. Al Hilal won 2 in the last 4 years and if Im not mistaken reached 6 finals in the last 8.

Wait until she finds out how Aramco have been faster and more effective than many Western corporations in hiring, developing and supporting women. It just doesn’t fit the English propaganda machine.
Vivianne Miedema discusses why she decided to sign the open letter to FIFA to end its partnership with Aramco 📝

“Arab football confederation” in a match involving teams from Iran and India is everything you need to know about Asian football fans.
So Indian side Mohun Bagan have been kicked out of the Asian Europa League equivalent because they don’t want travel to Iran to play in a stadium where rockets are being launched nearby. How dare they put the safety of their players & fans first? What even is @TheAFCCL 🥴.

@hlebroulette Yes exactly. I wanted to go deeper into this because the naturalisation process between Ind/Qat/Uae is different . Indonesia: diaspora.Qatar: Aspire academy + brazilians.UAE: 5 year naturalisation process of current league players.
