@RoyDT Yeh, it showed he can do it. My counter argument would be that it was a fairly small sample size that included some easier matchups. I think if Doc is not in defense and with Newman out he could get some decent usage. 85 certainly wouldn’t shock me.

@FantasyFreako Did he play midfield all season or different roles? He averaged 85 in the 15 VFL games prior to the one you're referencing.

@SgtButane @ballboysfantasy My personal view is horses for courses, some games I think he can add more value in the mids, other games he'll be more valuable playing forward. Which is why I think he'll CBA% will be quite variable, just as it was last year. Some games 60%+ other games 20%.

@contestfantasy I personally don't think 35% is enough. As in, with that I dont think his scoring will be enough to justify starting him from a value perspective. Though I do agree that with 35% he could be a top 6 FWD given the paucity of options we have at the top end.

@ballboysfantasy Yeh agree with all of that. I guess the Q is do we predict it to happen or wait for it to happen and then jump on?
