Great news for creators: the @XMoney Account, enabled by @Visa, will debut later this year. Visa wants to be everywhere money moves. By powering X Money through Visa Direct, we’re building on our recent move to recognize digital creators as small businesses, because we know they make a big impact on the digital economy.

🚨 The TikTok ban should be a wakeup call to all creators!!! 🚨 Don’t become overly reliant on a single platform. Diversify your portfolio.

Some young streamers are finding it hard to juggle schoolwork with their fame and fortune. These runs never last forever, especially in any sort of linear way. Still, it is possible to sustain success — but your money has to grow up. Here’s how to make that happen 👇

The word of the year was “manifest.” And if there’s one theme I’ve heard this year speaking with artists, musicians, athletes, and creators, it's that manifesting your dreams requires becoming undeniable. How do you do that? It’s all about making small (but smart) steps.

I believe everyone has the ability to rise up and compete at the highest level if given the opportunity. Hopefully by doing these things, you’ll be able to create those opportunities for yourself. What are your career goals for the year? I always believed in “speaking it” into existence. RT it into being!

𝟑. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 If you’re privileged enough to be within proximity of someone who has already achieved what you’re trying to do, simply ask them if they can schedule time or if you can ask a question. Most people love to talk about their lives. You can learn a lot simply by asking. If that’s not a possibility, you can also do research and read up on how people in your industry achieved success. A lot of times, it’s not glamorous but an obsession in the process of getting better. When you are truly passionate about and love what you do, there is no finish line — only the process of “making it” every day.

𝟏. 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 One of my favorite quotes is from Denzel Washington, “Goals without a plan are just dreams.” What this means to me is that having a plan and taking an actionable step every day is an effective way to achieve your goals. But keep in mind, things won’t always go according to plan. I could not have predicted my career path or the specific jobs I have had. Be open to opportunities that might be outside of your wheelhouse but align with your passion. You’ll learn transferable skills that you will be able to apply to future roles.

@XXL @llcoolj For me, it’s “Hey Lover”. LL brought the rap ballad into the mainstream. The underlying track samples “The Lady in my Life” written by the iconic songwriter, Rod Temperton. And it features BoyzIIMen, whom I had the good fortune to work with at Motown. Happy birthday, L!

@milkkarten Great read, @milkkarten. Love the idea of brand marketers being able to see the whole picture, social included.

@jappleby Instead of freaking out over uncertainty, most people should take practical steps like these. Thanks for sharing.
