i made travis scott's website for about a year and half and i never got any credit (or money) for it; that part was very Not Tight, i strongly disagree w/ kanye. especially young people working for artists they look up to and trying to establish themselves, credit is so important
using inspiration is fine. going out of your way to pretend your ideas are original and not based on other's is extremely dangerous behavior. its important to cite your sources and be respectful. this is not the first example of this. no one is being fooled here

tbh this is how the industry works, young creative people who look up to artists give their ideas away and hope for credit, or some trickle down from the top, and too often it doesn't come. important to never work for free and always demand accreditation

the only design that is good and relevant and worth paying attention to is not happening on the web, it’s not happening on album covers or posters, it’s not happening on t-shirts or on the runways, no. it’s happening on the sides of big ol’ trucks
unrelated but i was backstage at a travis scott show in boston cuz they hooked me up w/ a ticket (only form of payment i received). travis's crew backstage thought i was a fan trespassing and when i told them i was the website guy they didn't believe me 😂
do not work for brands if you can afford it because they will suck you of your time, energy and mental health, then no one is held accountable when you don't get paid for MONTHS. completely bullshit system and i'm pretty sick of how it works
