The reason why is because the company still counts if the codes are being used or not and they would add it to their system of their products being supported/used so it'll make them produce more no matter where you steal them.
And you can get in trouble.
One of my mutuals stated if you purchase the Dolls from Amazon, the shipping costs little to nothing, and you can redeem the code then return the Doll for a full refund.
