One of the best moments in Y&R and also one of the saddest moments. Paul was forced to shoot his own son Ricky! This was so good. DD was amazing in this scene and PP did an amazing job. #YR

@AngelaQueensNY1 I agree! That scene with Brooke standing up for herself only for the same week backtrack... what the heck was the point? The sad thing about this is that we know it's not going to change and Bell thinks this is good television.

I can’t stand Bridge either though 😂 Every time I talk about this Bridge vs Tridge I have to hear about the 90s. These women are being written terrible and it’s a shame that Bell continues doing this. I just feel with Taylor it’s upsetting me more because Bell doesn’t care for her as an individual character outside of him. The fact that she was the one who has the BHS is a problem. She left town because of Bridge is a problem. We really can’t see her doing much of anything else is a problem.

Oh yeah trust me I ain’t defending Brooke but just saying for me it’s worst to watch Taylor workship Ridge when she is second best… Ridge didn’t have to fight. Just his face when he’s with her is so embarrassing. Just upset with Bell. Brooke is pathetic but it’s who he truly would rather be with right now. It’s in his face whenever he hugs Taylor or has an “afterglow” with Taylor.

Taylor has the BHS and she’s the one who said “I don’t need a man to satisfy me” and she is the placeholder and accepts this man who would prefer to be with someone else. After Ridge even hugs or sleep with her, he’s thinking of Brooke. That’s pathetic. I as a OG Tridge fan can’t play the pretend game. Taylor had been incapable of moving on even when she lies about being this strong woman. She even had to leave town (leave her adult children) because she couldn’t see Brooke and Ridge together.

@soapfanatic93 They are but I don't get how people can say with a straight face that Brooke is being written more pathetic. Brooke is pathetic but at least we know that as of 2025, she would be his first choice. Taylor just easily takes him back while being the placeholder. She's the BHS one.
