I might be more excited about our governors if they had come up with the idea of strengthening our borders, increasing inter-provincial trade and clamping down on weapons on their own, instead of making it look like ‘dad’ is home now and he’s making us do stuff.

The unions are window dressing sold on ambitious plans that will take forever to build. Their support is a cost line that will allow the real benefactor ties to pocket exponentially more money! Our money! Change my mind!
No government in Ontario has believed in the potential of skilled trades workers and has invested in skilled trades and apprenticeship pathways like the @fordnation government, understanding that without them, our province cannot succeed. They are the men and women who power us forward, who connect and build up the communities we call home, and strengthen our economy. They build, maintain and strengthen infrastructure for today and for our future. It is a testament to what can be achieved when government, industry and labour work collaboratively to foster growth and advance opportunity for Ontarios skilled workforce matched by legislative policy that prioritizes their health and safety. Thank you to @Empire_Club for a great event and for opportunity to bring remarks on behalf of LiUNA and thank Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development @DavidPiccini for his leadership and highlight the work underway to build up our vibrant, skilled and strong workforce Let’s continue this momentum and move Ontario forward!

@Teachers__Unite Schools that I work as a supply admin in have incredible numbers of in-school skippers….hall walkers! They don’t care…unless they are walked to class, they don’t go! The ‘15 absences and you’re removed rule’ needs to change because it is an easy way to get a spare.
