Match quality has been significantly worse since the change, the amount of people who are toxic, out right throw or try hard for wins in the mode and expect you to do the same has gone up drastically, like no one uses the mode to learn a new hero or chill out now I swear…

If you’re constantly being dived, it’s on you to make the swap ngl. If you’re on something like lw and you can’t keep up your ana during a dive then swap to brig or ask your ana to swap to kiri. 5v5 often has the tank trade backlines in dive comps since you’re most likely to win,

I imagine most of the reason for the crit reduction is sojourn and widow tbf, but the 50% passive feels horrible into most tank heroes. Like why can’t I stop the doom from punching my Ana or at least putting him off when I whipshot him as brig/ boop as Lucio.

This is literally what I do and it’s one of the best ways to improve is just testing the limits of a hero and what you can get away with, eg learning stuff like tracer can one clip and melee torb turrets to destroy them or shooting a kirikos legs because it’s more consistent.
