I work ‘in pensions’. 15 years ago, if I repeated that line in public, folk fell asleep, now their attention pricks up. Retirement advice and planning should form part of an inviolate economic macro - after all, a pension is nothing more than a deferred wage.

So prudent, hard-working retired people are going to be milked of their pensions to support those who don’t care to work or who arrived without a passport and with only a mobile phone. ⁦@UKLabour⁩ hates older people. Vote them into extinction.

Bradford has been under Labour majority control since 2014. Labour councillors don’t put up with that outside their own front doors, I’ll wager.

The right of the public to exercise their right to expression at the ballot box should not be a gift of timing to parochial local politicians, incentivised political agents or hand wringing bureaucrats.

How on earth must these people have been raised to have developed into communicating with each other like this? It is wrong, and they know it is wrong, because they would not do it in front of the public. It is a sense of entitlement, the idea that once they are in this position they can do what they like. Gwynne must resign his seat, as must those counsellors. They are disgusting people, can you imagine the reaction they are going to get on the doorstep when they start canvassing again?

‘The messages were exchanged in a group called Trigger Me Timbers, which Mr Gwynne shares with more than a dozen Labour councillors, party officials and at least one other MP, all based on the outskirts of Manchester’ They all need to be named, sacked and expelled.

@Dogtrotdogeye @Councillorsuzie @GwynneMP There is no place in public life for people like that. Those counsellors should be suspended, investigated and that acted upon, and if Gwynne had a shred of integrity left, he would resign. I dread to imagine what conversations in the Gwynne household must have been like.

Who else was in that WhatsApp group, who read what was written but aided and abetted by keeping quiet? Removing the whip isn’t sufficient - if Andrew Gwynne remains a Member of Parliament, we need to change the power of Recall. The man is unfit to serve us. #AndrewGwynne

To Southport, Chagos, Net Zero, Reparations, Hounding SAS heroes, Open Borders, Ruining Farming and allowing Muslim rape gangs to prosper, we can now add ‘Wishing death on pensioners’. Andrew Gwynne is disgusting - how much lower can Labour sink?

Gwynne is another MP with no life experience. His constituency is next to Oldham and there are scores of references to it on his timeline, not a single one protesting child rape though. In his defence, his majority had plunged so I guess he has to be mindful of his career.

Next miss selling scandal? Poorly performing or incorrectly described investment recommendations unsuitably made to support a progressive left wing liberal agenda and on the basis of “climate change”, “DEI” etc.

@exRAF_Al Precisely. I was talked into having an investment ISA. Fortunately it isn’t very big. The performance is disappointing. I could push the risk level up but I don’t want to lose any more money.

We all have different priorities, not everyone needs to be invested. If somebody has a short term objective, why wouldn’t they use a cash ISA? If somebody wants to mitigate sequential risk shortly (especially) after going into drawdown, why wouldn’t they have a cash ISA?
