As a comfy black woman in tech be careful with startup companies. They pay big and typically cant sustain those big salaries as the company grows. Healthcare Tech can offer more longevity and room for advancement. Not an elitist here but it’s definitely a hell of a community 🫶🏽

15 years ago I was hired for my first health care position. It was an ER Registration Rep @ Hahnemann. The director was a Black woman who gave me a chance with no experience. Its a pleasure to find she is in meetings with me requesting my help to develop her staff. Life is funny.
