I cant express how insanely good adren vial feels. I really really really want a Blight addon that just gives increased look angle and base speed, extra rushes not needed, but no turn rate penalty. It felt like I finally played the killer how it was meant to feel - simply amazing

3. If you feel like you might not know all the theory - spend time and effort to research (watch good players) and target practice with a friend in 1v1s (ie play pallet gym)

The difference is that one thing is gameplay related decisions - the other is abusing broken perks/items. You can counter the ingame strategies - but you cant counter broken perks. If your post was about perks or playstyles on both sides you might have a point - but you dont.

The skill expression comes from the v1 tech, enabled by hug tech, and the things it made possible. Being able to outplay close to every loop or tile vs not being able to is a massive difference, setting apart the good from the bad blights. Without it the skill gap is much smaller

The issue with the perk is how it works and how you get charges. You should start with 0 charges and gain charged by being in chase interaction with the killer, at a reasonably slow rate so you gain ~1 charge per avg hit time. Then the perk actually would be fine.

Very unbalanced - both the game as well as matchmaking. Matchmaking makes it so 90% of games are free wins either way (vs bad survivors or swf vs bad killers). A good swf using broken shit is umbeatable unless you also use broken shit - horrible experience. Maps suck as well 80%.

I think both the advanced and professional numbers are too low. It seems closer to the bare minimum to me than the average. A lot of it also depends on the players' mindset as well as how they spend that time. Playing 1v1s/comp games is a lot more effective than playing pubs.

For anyone wondering abt the issue: The rule currently states that "players are not allowed to make unsportsmanlike and/or disrespectful statements about their performance". It prohibits shittalking yourself, not your opponents - which makes no sense. How does this get released?

I must disagree with this. Every chase interaction I've had so far against this killer on both sides has been very fun and felt skill based, balanced and rewarding. I don't understand why the turrets had to exist in the first place - the killer is fine without turrets imo.
To counter Xenomorph you NEED to play around Flameturrets and if you do you can make him (a waste too much time keeping his power or (b force him to be an m1 killer.
The killer is op in the loops by design, Flameturrets are the counterplay NOT looping.

The taking a shirt off thing actually came from one player failing to put it back on in time for the continuation of the game. Which is a great example of when BM should be punished - when it delays the game unnecessarily.

Nobody in these games even tries to ReShade anything, because its simply designed to show you everything clearly. Everything has its own properly indicated audio/visual representation - that you can actually hear/see.

Any competitive game would simply allow you to see and hear properly (look at Valorant, League of Legends for example). Not the players fault for shitty game design. The way the game looks is great for 2016 hide and seek goofy shit - not for the modern, time efficiency based DBD.

According to this definition using discord to talk to your friends in the game is cheating - you cant apply it to one thing, but not another. According to this even using a better keyboard/monitor/mouse etc. is cheating. It just doesnt work out im afraid.

Well it would put a limit that never resets on it - unlike yellow cards. If there was a system for warnings for it that resets once per league or so, I could see that. Like 5 warnings per tournament for that and then u have to carefully pick and choose when you use them.

It's not even about if 1 is more unfair than 2. Everyone knows it's unfair. But, due to the small size of the region, nothing more can be done about it without essentially removing the region from EU/NA comp.

Lastly there's the barrier to get into prestigious/invite only tournaments. Those are reserved for only the top 8-16 teams at any given time - anyone else will be excluded. To become a respected player you need to pass all barriers and prove your skill over long periods.

If you want to host a female only tournament - go ahead. As for me - I care about the gameplay and skill only. Your gender, sexual orientation, and colour of skin is irrelevant to me. If ur good ur good, if ur bad ur bad. Therefore, Im not interested in it personally.

The next barrier is being able to get "good" scrim partners. Time is precious so teams usually only scrim within their approx. skill bracket. Getting a good killer to scrim your team is doable, but getting a good team to scrim you if you're unknown is borderline impossible.

Tournaments always invite teams fairly - either purely based on skill and past achievements, first come/first serve signups, qualifiers, or a mix of those. And since there's no inherent difference based on gender this is 100% fair.

To describe the barriers of entry - they are genuinely rough. They are not more or less rough based on gender though. There are a few barriers of entry. The first is for players getting on a team that actively plays tournaments. Which is hard when "everyone knows everyone".

Youre slower at the start of fatigue, look down further and then speed up while looking up its weird. Also while carrying survs its scuffed, u look zoomed in if you look at your weapon. Also camera mid blink is not ok + swing anim. I just get motion sick and its terrible. Pls fix

Since DBD is a video game, there is no inherent disadvantage to competing as a woman. The only thing that matters is skill. No tournament org I ever talked to or was part of, no team I ever played with or coached, cared about the gender of their potential players.

you can also buff no mither along the way, giving full unbreakable + iron will and make it not stack with those perks - then you can design more perks with really strong effects that have "youre broken" as a downside, creating a new kind of perk

My first real team when I started playing comp had Dafne as a captain. She was a great captain and is a great person. At no point were we disadvantaged as a team when interacting with, applying for or competing in tournaments because of that.
