I entered college with drive but no direction. I found my destination by covering the Deacs - the games, the interviews, the colleagues and friends, the little moments. There was purpose on the journey, broken roads and all. My last story as a WF student.

In other news, former Wake asst, now ETSU HC @BrooksSavage took down Samford today for a third-straight win. After making the SoCon championship last season, Savage has the Bucs one win out of a tie for first. Awesome stuff from the Steve Forbes coaching tree in Johnson City.

Just gonna bump this. Thought Omaha provided a very solid 11 minutes today. He gives Wake Forest so much athleticism and versatility. A lot of promise for what he could mean down the line for the Deacs.

ROAD KILL. Wake is the first ACC team to go on the road and win both games against Stanford and Cal. The defense traveled, especially today. Wake was dominant on that end. Deacs are 10-3 in the ACC and have earned every win. Some deserved rest time ahead of FSU on Wednesday.
