@ronmortgageguy @DBarnettMoncton I’m just curious why you don’t think making an addictive highly promoted drug widely accessible isn’t a health risk? Alcohol costs Canada $20 billion per year in health care, criminal justice, lost productivity costs, etc. Thanks

@tomcwark @UVic_CISUR That still has risks but that aside a large proportion of consumers do not limit to a 5oz glass of wine per day with a meal. The alcohol industry promotes their products to be acceptable to use any time - getting a hair cut, starting back to college, playing/watching sports, etc

@tomcwark @UVic_CISUR I disagree. IARC classified alcohol as a carcinogen in 1989. Why do so few consumers know that alcohol causes cancer? How can a consumer be irresponsible if the inherent health risks of a product are not on the product label and difficult to access?

@LakotaMan1 I don’t even understand why this is a question. How does long hair hurt or offend anyone? Can girls have short hair? I hope these kids can do what makes them feel good
