Thanks for all you’ve done to spotlight our kids and our programs!
As some of you know, I’ve been working remotely for most of the past year. As you might expect, that is not an ideal way to provide local coverage of high school sports. With that in mind, beginning next week, I’ll be starting a new job elsewhere. I’ll still be following Yukon and Piedmont sports, but I won’t be reporting on them. Thanks to any and all of you who’ve read or interacted with my work over the years. It’s deeply appreciated. It’s a difficult time to be in local journalism, but it’s a great job and I’m very thankful for the opportunity. There are so many amazing coaches and players in the area, and it’s been an honor to get to follow their progress. Good luck to them all and once again, thank you!

@Mroisux @nut_history Played there with a fence, and without a fence in the early 2000s. Like 230 down the lines!
