My demons said I couldn’t do it,. To go from never running a marathon to full Ironman in <6mo, w/ a newborn & building/launching bolt․new,. But today after a 2.4mi swim, 112mi bike, full 26.2mi marathon, all back to back in 12h15m,. I am an Ironman.

Two incredible things here from a tech PoV:. 1. Node.js running on SpiderMonkey. First time you can use an engine other than V8 to run full toolchains. Browser engine diversity ftw. 2. Instantly boot an OS, running Node.js toolchains, inside a browser tab, on a mobile device. 🤯

The incredible thing is that this works with any framework (Next.js, Vite, Vue, Svelte, . ), any setup, even any git repo you pull into Bolt 🤯. It's very easy to do this for one locked down toolchain, but the magic of Bolt is no vendor lock-in — you can always edit the code!!.

When we launched Bolt it was clear to us, if system prompts are your "moat", you’re cooked. We fully open sourced ours, great to see others now relaxing in suit!. Similar to inspecting JS files in browser- can learn a lot, but they are small artifacts of what makes great products.
“Leaked system prompts” continue to matter less and less - as proven by more and more companies open sourcing their “secret recipe” What matters is UX, interaction polish, and end-to-end value prop.
