Idk how we can blame Brunson for anything last night. He even looked good defensively. He passed the ball and the ball came right back to him. What do you want him to do?

@dorkasaurus_rex @BanuxMV @travbryanmusic I agree, thibs should change his ways. Especially defensive schemes. But I also think the roster currently constructed needs a change.

@dorkasaurus_rex @BanuxMV @travbryanmusic I think the blame should be everyone not just the coach. I could care less if we get rid of thibs. However, Lack of consistent perimeter defense Brunson and KAT aren’t lockdown defenders, so OG,Mikal, and Hart have to cover too much ground.Slow defensive rotations personal change

@Rugged440 @NBA_NewYork The issue isn’t talent offensively it’s playing smarter and moving the ball consistently, not just when they’re forced to. If the Knicks can emphasize faster ball movement, more drive-and-kick action, and secondary playmaking from Bridges and OG, they’ll be much harder to beat

@HalfZilla718 @bmorelikestate Elite offensive players with defensive weaknesses have been targeted in the playoffs for years…from Steph Curry to James Harden. It’s just hard to do that for a center.

@HalfZilla718 @bmorelikestate I think realistically the only defense KAT can play is drop coverage. where he plays higher up in certain matchups but still has backline help, possibly from another big or a strong help defender. That way, OG and Mikal can stay home on their assignments without over-committing

@HalfZilla718 @bmorelikestate I agree. I don’t think the Knicks playing drop coverage is a bad thing but we just don’t have the type of personnel. KAT has to be active in that pick and roll setting. Like you said 48 mins…Thibs can go I wouldn’t care either but the defensive problems will still be there.

@bmorelikestate @HalfZilla718 Do you think the Knicks can hide Brunson and KAT defense in a 2-3 zone? Guarding the high post with KAT and having OG and Mikal guard the perimeter with Brunson and Hart collapsing?
