Today was wild. First, Jesse gave a fully yolo presentation on stage where at one point he claimed Base was fighting for freedom. Just 5 minutes later,@koeppelmann referenced how L2 sequencers can do arbitrary censorship through state simulation. That was a reality check.
Today was very interesting. First @phildaian said 'we must stop yoloing proposals.' which is I completely agree. 5 minutes later @drakefjustin presented the beam chain, which requires quite high coordination, research and technical development. Let's see

Validator Distribution on the @gnosischain . October 2022 - July 2024. Increasing the number of solo stakers and individual node operators on the Gnosis Chain has been a focus since the Gnosis Beacon Chain was launched. I’ll briefly explain how it has developed.

If you want to run the Fuel Ignition node you only need 2 cores. 2 cores and 40K TPS as a rollup 🙃. alpha: @fuel_network is building the sequencer and DA layer that native zk using low spec devices achieve insane throughput like 1.5 gbps @IAmNickDodson
@chainmonky @dhaiwat10 Fuel has two kinds of node:. - Rollup nodes (used to secure the Ignition Rollup).- Sequencer nodes (used for sequencing). Anyone can run a Rollup node, but there is no rewards for doing so. Presently we have a closed validator set for the sequencing layer, but this will open up.
