It was so cool watching these young men and women execute their game plan and each come away with a win against Southern Miss! Also crazy to think we were snowed in not even a month ago and today it was 80 degrees in NOLA.

Everyone surely has their opinions on awards and such but one of the coolest parts was Sterling Sharpe getting announced as a Hall of Famer. A career ended far too soon and a man who was destined for induction much sooner.

Let me tell y'all about this squad. They've been resilient in the face of injuries and some close calls in several games that didn't go their way. Now back-to-back wins with momentum going into their next game on Monday.

It'll be interesting to see who benefits most for next year's Baseball HOF vote. There certainly won't be 2 first ballot guys next year so it'll be interesting to see who some writers pivot to on the current ballot.
