Incoming winter weather is being forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday for Enid and across NW Oklahoma. Please take precautions and drive as road conditions allow.

Officers have finished searching Enid High School and determined that no threat exists. All students and staff are safe. No shooting occurred and no one is injured. Similar false calls reporting a school shooting have occurred at a number of other schools state-wide this morning.

A large EPD presence is at Enid High School based on a phone threat. All students are safe and the school is in lockdown. No legitamite threat has been identified and it is believed to be a false call. ***PARENTS*** There is no need to come to the school at this time.
