It is Communion this week at NES. Two inspirational young people shared their inspirational testimonies with our Sixth Formers today. One was a Year 12 who found Christ in Year 11 at NES and another one of the fabulous Youth Workers from @Wilford_Church.

Just found out that we were part of a successful Guinness World Record Attempt! NES students were part of 43,516 people (from around 500 schools), to take part in the World's largest poetry lesson earlier this academic year! Huge thanks to our amazing English department!

Tonight we pray for the end of all genocide around the world and for all those over the generations who have experienced persecution due to their faith, race, social status or sexuality.
Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. This year marks the 80th anniversary since the liberation of the Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. Pray with us using this prayer from the Council of Christians and Jews, @CCJUK . 🙏

Today was our first PROUD station celebrating excellent work! Fabulous atmosphere with students coming to celebrate work they are proud of for a small prize. Definitely going to quickly become the best part of the week!

Santa came to NES today in his sleigh to hand out attendance gifts to students with great attendance this term. He was supported by some little helpers too! Very proud that our school attendance is above the national average! @Archway_ALT

Our year 7 students have received a brand new book from Bookbuzz. Bookbuzz gives students the chance to choose & keep a book they’ll love from a collection of 16 titles, newly selected each year by a panel of BookTrust reading experts, practising teachers and school librarians.
