The 7th Doctor: *does actual fucking nonsensical magic somehow to get them out of a pickle*. Ace: how did you do that Doctor?. The 7th Doctor: Everything crumbles to dust eventually. Nothing survives the eternal march of time, not even gods *pulls 6 eggs out of his nose*.
The 1st Doctor: *does actual fucking nonsensical magic somehow to get them out of a pickle*. The companions: how did you do that Doctor?. The 1st Doctor: shut the fuck up you fucking idiots.

@ProductionsJAW Also awful lighting and really cramped framing, like what am I actually looking at here???? Was so confusing trying to decipher this on TV

@bbcdoctorwho Everyone saying 60th, it actually means the 50th year of Target novels, as the first one was published in 1973.

@namedinstant @MewtwoNega But when that’s all that’s provided, the wider subtext of the story follows suit. The Doctor doesn’t actually speak out against anything Kerblam does, and neither does the story, it’s only real message is that people who want change are mad and should just calm down.

@dweeeebles Well no, Kerblam was about the robotisation of workplaces and how people were now struggling to make ends meet because the system is designed to only support people with jobs. But for some reason that’s not the bad thing, the bad thing is when people try to change that.

@TharriesYT The fact that this could have been fixed literally just by changing “humanity” to “humans”.

@Dubliam2003 @TrekScreenPods Easier to fit that screenshot into a meme than a whole episode’s ending tho.

@theshapeburns Honestly I’d be thinking the same, cause Saw is always seen as the “crappy cheap torture porn” franchise, and especially given the reception of the most recent films I’d expect there to be some pushback, but nope.

@MaxKashevsky That’s the thing with Doctors, literally nobody makes a slightly correct guess, and the name always comes completely out of left field when they’re revealed. And that’s absolutely how it should be.

Can’t this just be the actual 4th Doctor? There’s no reason it has to be a retrobigenerated Doctor when it can just literally be the same one, like old companions coming back and travelling with the same Doctor they used to is not unprecedented.
So is this meant to be the BIGENERATED fourth doctor that Leela just gets to travel around with now?

@DavidLeninhawk John “I don’t condone murder” Kramer when his medical insurance is rejected: What if I forced this guy to kill his staff in the most harrowing ways possible? That’d be fun 🥰.

New minor conspiracy theory of mine is that the reason the AI made up a random villain called The Unknown for the Willy’s Chocolate Experience is because of the announcement of the new Dead by Daylight killer, The Unknown
New details on the Willy Wonka Experience disaster. • Script was '15 pages of AI-generated gibberish'. • Made up a villain called The Unknown — 'an evil chocolate maker who lives in the walls'. • Event had no chocolate — kids were given a single jelly bean & a cup of lemonade

@vamp1rekid It’s honesty one of my favourite part of Saw, the unique way absolutely everything is unbelievably filthy, rusty and decrepit. Just an absolute visual cesspool, I unironically love it so much.

@twinkjodie Character exclaiming that a horrific and unbelievable thing is happening comes across a lot more natural than “look at the nothing happening, there is nothing happening, that means nothing is happening audience”.

@_cosmicangst I never really accepted how everyone in the Doctor Who universe just went without mentioning the Miracle ever again after it happened, but after living through COVID…I can totally accept it.

Me in 2013: Why did Moffat bring back the Zygons for the 50th? They’re such an obscure and relatively unknown monster, why use them for such a massive occasion?. Me in 2022: BEEP THE MOTHERFUCKING MEEP IN THE 60TH LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!.

@saw_shots @carouselshotgun I love how you can identify some of the traps by the big blocks of colours. The needle pit, the freezer and the pig bag in Saw 3, the bedroom in Saw 4, the seam maze and shotgun carousel. So cool.

I’m sorry, this looks absolutely hideous, AI artwork can immediately get in the bin. What utter crap.

@dweeeebles That’s the point, if people had other means outside of their jobs there wouldn’t be a problem, but the capitalist system has been set up in such a way that they’re dependant on it and being left in the dust when an easier and more cost efficient way turns up.

@TVOrangeMan I never watched past series 12 and don’t give a single fuck about Thasmin, what annoyed me was the fact that they started going into it just enough to appease the people that did ship it, but didn’t actually do anything meaningful with it so they didn’t step on anyone’s toes.

This paired with the fact the Empire of Death title card was a TARDIS…there is definitely something going on here
Updated shot: we’ve seen the Doctor leaning out of the TARDIS in space screaming. The interior has been fully lit and… WAIT A MINUTE THAT IS THE REMEMBERED TARDIS! EXCUSE ME WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT FRICKING WHATTTTTTT. Either this is a fakeout or we all gonna meltdownnnn!~

@Bigfinishrevie1 I dunno if it does decanonise Mel’s return, as long as by the end of it she returns with Glitz again. Although I think we will never see the end of that storyline sadly.

@carouselshotgun Nothing is ever gonna beat the early-2000s horror movie dark grungy aesthetic I fear.

@PoorlyAgedWho Literally when I visited there was a family whose kid was explaining that it was for all the people who’d died on the bay and at sea, even while they were stood in front of the plaque explaining what it was.

@ONE1NERD The Celestial Toymaker, the guy who kidnaps people and makes them play blind man’s buff with living clown dolls out of eternal boredom, being silly????!?!?!?! RTD has killed the show, RIP Doctor Who.

@dollsghoula Late Night with the Devil. Despite all the praise it’s getting I can’t for one second condone AI usage like that.

@carouselshotgun Giving a similar vibe to the Nerve Gas house, only it’s all in one room. It fits really well, how they all gathered in a operating room to watch John being sentenced to death, now they have to watch each other die (or live? We’ll see).

@Bigfinishrevie1 God forbid they let the outwardly morally grey Doctor be in any actual meaningful way morally grey.

@dollsghoula It’s this kinda argument that pushes studios to test the waters with it more and more though, finding how much they can get away with. Give them an inch, they’ll take a mile with it.

@TrekScreenPods @namedinstant @MewtwoNega It’s not far off tho, and it doesn’t have any other points that could counter it.

@gwylock1 For a guy that famously complained about 80s Who doing stuff over and over again…it’s weird to see him doing like the one thing 80s Who was famous for doing over and over again.
