@BanjoBlood16 @nhs2tier @sotonDSN @pa_StephenNash @gillsplaceok @puccarts i have come across several excellent PAs btw but i think the alignment to the ā€˜medical modelā€™ is what is used to justify starting at a B 7 at qualification v nurse B5.

@nhs2tier @sotonDSN @pa_StephenNash @gillsplaceok @puccarts 2/2 a quick look at google scholar will help you but essential a biomedical model is one that gives greater emphasis to the biomedical aspects of disease whereas others will give different emphasis to psychosocial aspects.
