The NCAA is a joke. Our teammate Jordan McNair passes away during a NCAA sanctioned workout. But now, as a NCAA student athlete, I am not allowed to promote a fundraiser we are having for his parents Jordan McNair Foundation! I can’t even tweet the flyer! That’s my Ted Talk.

Every Saturday my teammates and I have to kneel before the memorial of our fallen teammate. Yet a group of people do not have the courage to hold anyone accountable for his death. If only they could have the courage that Jordan had. It’s never the wrong time to do what’s right.

Update: Today they removed the ventilator and my dad began breathing on his own for the first time in weeks! My mom even got to speak to him for the first time in 21 days and he said, “I love you, I am ok.” He’s not quite out of the woods but it appears the hard part is behind us

This is hope. Hope that with tireless work from medical professsionals, support and positivity from loved ones, and a prayer ARMY, that this disease can be beaten. After close to a month in the hospital, 2 1/2 weeks in a coma, my dad has been released. GOD IS GOOD! STAY POSITIVE!

Please pray for my father. He tested positive for covid-19 this morning. He was diagnosed with pneumonia last week but it got worse. Luckily I haven’t been around him but my mom and sister are in quarantine while he is in the hospital. All we can do is stay positive and pray🙏🏽

The little things. My brother and I went by the hospital today because the nurses decorated our dads window so we would know where he was. They came to the window in full PPE and waved and gave us a thumbs up. A few good days in a row for him. ❤️🙏🏽STAY POSITIVE!

My mom got a chance to talk to my dad this morning. He is still in a state of coma but hopefully some of what she was saying over the phone got through. She assured him of everyone praying for him and that he is not alone! He will keep fighting. STAY POSITIVE!❤️

One year ago my dad got released after his bout with COVID. In 2 days he will receive his 2nd dose of the vaccine. HOW FAR WE HAVE COME, with a lot of work still to go. STAY POSITIVE! 💙
