The district received information about a potential threat to the middle/high school today. The threat was investigated immediately and found not to be credible. The district will continue to be vigilant with all situations as they are presented and as warranted.

Due to hazardous weather conditions, USD 355 Ellinwood Public Schools will have a 2 hour start delay on Tuesday, March 26. We will be starting at 10:00 am.

The filing deadline for the USD 355 Board of Education is tomorrow (June 1st) at noon in the Barton County Clerk's Office. The term is for four years and begins on January 1, 2024.

USD 355 will be ending the school day at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, December 14th, for the purpose of allowing students and staff to attend the funeral of Tate Martin. Please plan accordingly, and the district appreciates your understanding.

The district continues to seek substitute teachers. There are new regulations that allow for more people to become licensed as an emergency substitute teacher. The district pays $120 per day. Anyone interested may contact the Central Office at 620-564-3226 or aporter@usd355.org
