@emmatranter_ if you want party vibes on sleeper trains nowadays you need to go on the much cheaper south/east Europe ones - in west/north Europe they’re more expensive and full of people who want a good nights sleep! Austrian and Scottish sleepers are particularly luxurious

@ellegist My go to book recommendation at the moment is Ghost Wall by Sarah Moss - quite simply the best novel and novelist out there. (It’s very short, very gripping and leaves you with lots to think about without being too challenging)

@seatsixtyone I couldn’t tell whether he really didn’t know or was just enjoying being a bit overzealous and putting us in our place… he did say ‘remember Brexit’ about five times!

After a bit of back and forth he took our passports to check with his colleague and eventually gave them back without explanation. BUT my question is - has this happened to you since Brexit? What’s a good response for a border guard who doesn’t know the 90 in 180 days rule?
