i wish people would understand that saying medical fatphobia is real is not the same as HAES. a close family friend is currently dying of a brain tumour that went undiagnosed until she lost the ability to walk/eat because they blamed all symptoms on her weight.

if this had been caught earlier she really might have had a chance but they turned her away multiple times until a nurse friend went with and forced them to run tests. she has 3 kids and 2 grandchildren, and she’s not even 50 yet :(

not to mention she’s one of the best people i’ve ever met, and the reason she’s gained weight over the years was due to dedicating her life to keeping her suic¡dal daughter alive, bc she attempts almost everytime she’s left alone. she did everything for others :(

rice is such a safe food of mine <3 156 cals including the soy aminos, i know most of u never touch rice anymore but it’s really not as bad as ppl make it out to be </3 and it’s so comforting, like i would 200% rather eat this than 5 rice cakes, so worth it 🙏🏻
