I read the whole thing and here's what I think. "White" catholics don't see or view race through the lens you do. They literally don't care, don't notice & doesn't factor into their decision on local,state,federal elections, school boards, judges, county commissioner or whatever. The church is universal, spanning every country on earth. You're horizontally spreading a secular view when it should be a vertical spiritual one. Instead of a "put on the glasses" moment (ala They Live) sounds like you need to take the glasses off.
