POLICE INVESTIGATING Millwall chants aimed at Leeds United fans at Elland Road this lunchtime. Both Millwall and Leeds clubs released statements after the final whistle tonight in which Leeds lost 0-2 in the FA Cup 4th round. Leeds United said; “During today's FA Cup fourth round tie with Millwall, we were extremely disappointed to hear vile chants relating to football tragedies from the away section at Elland Road. “We know the impact this has on the families of Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight, along with th hole fan base of Leeds United. “We will work with the police and Millwall Football Club to identify those involved, whilst we will also continue our efforts with the football authorities to help eradicate these chants from the game.” The game both before and after resulted in a few arrests, but nothing of concern at this time has been reported. Officers contained the large group of Millwall fans who had travelled from the South back to Leeds Train Station after the game.
