Final Fantasy XVI
A resounding experience as touching as it is epic. Has some of the coolest shit you will ever see in a video game but also tells an incredibly gripping story with a world dripping with intrigue. We should all learn to be like Clive Rosfield a little.

Omori is a reminder of why I love stories. From that youthful feeling of adventure in a new world with characters you know nothing of, seeing parts of yourself in each of them, all leading to the feeling of bliss at the end knowing the lasting imprint that’s been left on you.

NieR Replicant
Very heartfelt and sincere with one of my favorite soundtracks ever. The route structure left a bit to be desired and I wish the protagonist was fleshed out a bit more to my liking, but this was a beautiful game that certainly left an impression.

Route A of Replicant was really solid! Had a fun time throughout and the final portion of the story was genuinely jaw-dropping. Route B has started off strong as well and promises quite a few tears come the end of it.

One of the worst parts about watching all of this from the sidelines is seeing how easily misinformation can be spread. This type of propaganda I thought you'd only see cartoon villains use and it's a shame that so many people big and small are eating it up at face value.

I made something similar a year ago but these are my most anticipated media of 2023. I didn't get on a lot of the ones I had on last year's mosaic(a certain jrpg series happened) but I WILL get on all these next year trust.

After many, many hours I finally completed my platinum Elden Ring run. Did all unique bosses with no summons(except one) and every quest and achievement in the game. There was a lot of blood, sweat, and tears but I'm finally free of this game until DLC.

Forgot to make this on the 29th, but it’s been two years since I finished Umineko. I’ve experienced a lot since then, but still to this day it still stands head and shoulders over the rest. It seeped its way into my daily life and became one of my reasons for going forward.

A masterpiece in all regards and the most fulfilling and fun gaming experience I’ve had to date. This game stands as a fresh continuation of the formula that these games have followed, but it’s also a culmination of everything I love about the previous games.

Even though I finished Tsukihime weeks ago, I decided to hold off on this until I finished the supplementary content and also just let the full experience simmer for me. And I’m glad I did, I think I know exactly where this story stands for me now.
