In the past couple of days, I realized a particular challenge I have been facing. I have been the go-to person when it comes to tools and platforms. Anytime people in my circle need a tool that does a particular thing, they will reach out to me. Unfortunately, on countless occasions, I had forgotten the name of a tool that I have used in the past and would like to recommend to someone. The most challenging part is when I personally need to use a tool I have used in the past and can't seem to remember the name or how to access it. I end up wasting my time going through browser histories, bookmarks, notebooks, etc. I got so frustrated on this same issue because for 2 consecutive days I was searching for this one tool that I needed to share with someone. Seeing how painful this was in the midst of my friends, I said I wish there was a way to just save all these nice tools that I use in one place and be able to share them with people whenever I wanted. It would also be nice to see what tools others are using and have their honest opinion about the tools so I know what tool to use if I ever needed to. That moment was an eureka moment. I was hit with the question. Why don't you build such a platform so we can all save our tools there? I'm hereby happy to announce that after 48 hours of going through this frustration, I have built the MVP of this platform. Recognizing that this is a problem that you may have also faced at least once in your life, I would want to invite you all to try out the new platform and share your thoughts with me. I never want to struggle to remember the name of the tools I need if I have ever used them before, and I want to be able to easily share these with people like you.
