We have to pay a lot of money, $800 for the transportation costs from Khan Younis in the south, to the ruins of our home in Jabalia, in the north. My parents are both sick, my dad is diabetic and my mum has high blood pressure. Their medicine costs $200 a week. They are too sick and frail to make this long trip on foot. Donations have slowed down recently which is very concerning because our goal is to evacuate and travel to see my eldest sister and meet my newborn niece, but the crossing fees are expected to be between $5,000 and $10,000 per person!! There are six of us that need to evacuate!
