“Is it true, prince, that you once declared that 'beauty would save the world'? Great Heaven! The prince says that beauty saves the world! And I declare that he only has such playful ideas because he's in love! Gentlemen, the prince is in love. I guessed it the moment he came in. Don't blush, prince; you make me sorry for you. What beauty saves the world? Colia told me that you are a zealous Christian; is it so? Colia says you call yourself a Christian. The prince regarded him attentively, but said nothing.”

This is so amazing! I am so, so happy for you Mr. Kennedy and I am so grateful to God for you and your courage and your patience until the time came for you to fulfill your purpose to the best of your ability and according to God’s will! If you need our help in any way, please let us know. It would be wonderful to be a part of this very important work. Let clean food, clean water and clean air — the foundation of good health — always be your priority. And spiritual and emotional health not far behind that. I certainly believe that our relationship with God is the most important thing in life, our ability to love God and one another. 💛🙏🏼🕊 Many many blessings and as we say in Romania, “Spor la treabă!!!” 🇺🇸🇷🇴🕊

Thank you, President Trump. As a boy, I sat in the Oval Office where my uncle led on the issues of health and fitness. And now, six decades later, I stand with a transformational leader who fully grasps the public health crisis our great nation faces. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be confirmed as the 26th Secretary of @HHSGov. Let’s Make America Healthy Again.

A BEAUTIFUL AND MOMENTOUS DAY FOR AMERICA! A day where I believe there is a MUCH more real potential future where: - Medical freedom is ENSURED - We can drink tap water safely and without fear of pharmaceutical residue, forever chemicals, and microplastics - 99% of foods aren’t covered in glyphosate, atrazine, and other synthetic pesticides - “The science” can’t be PURCHASED by industry - Pharmaceutical companies, food companies, and chemical companies are held liable for the harm they cause when their drugs or products lead to myocarditis, autoimmune diseases, blood clots, autism, asthma, cancer, dementia, death, and more. No legal immunity for companies for the harm they cause - Safety of ALL drugs, food additives, and ag chemicals is studied transparently and rigorously WITHOUT industry conflicts - Views that question or propose an alternative view to Big Food, Big Pharma, or health agencies are not silenced online - Children’s health is prioritized and we STOP and reverse chronic disease in children - The NIH and academic universities are prohibited from being paid front groups for Big Pharma - Humans are never forced or coerced into taking or being exposed to experimental drugs, shots, or chemicals with ZERO long term safety or cumulative exposure data - Healthcare providers are required to learn in their training what the phrase "root cause" means, how systems biology works, and how to prevent and reverse disease - Sunlight isn’t demonized as a cancer-causing boogeymonster - Children (and adults!) spend vastly more time outdoors - Disease causing ultra-processed foods and crops aren’t subsidized aggressively by the government - Regenerative and organic agriculture is incentivized and normalized - Journalists’ paychecks STOP coming from Big Pharma and Food via the advertising that funds their employers, and we start getting some unbiased news - The FDA actually knows exactly chemicals are in food (and starts regulating them) - Fitness is celebrated and incentivized - School lunches for kids aren’t filled with artificial toxins @RobertKennedyJr has a vision for the future that aligns with what I want for my family, future children, and the world. RFK Jr has a track record of DECADES of environmental and health advocacy and he is about to run a big portion of the US economy. I honor him and his team for EVERYTHING they have done and sacrificed to get here despite monumental adversity. America has SPOKEN. LET’S GO!

“The influencers [American intellectuals] asked American leftists to, quote, "support the efforts of the Soviet Union to free itself from insidious internal dangers." As the motto went at the time, "Communism is 20th-century Americanism." Journalist Eugene Lyons pointed out that these influencers gave every benefit of the doubt to an omnipotent state and its firing squads, rather than to its victims. There were no intellectual acrobatics which the fellow travelers would not undertake to save their lovely faith in Russia. Year after year, they had accepted and explained away horror and super-horror, falsification of history, corruption, terror, manmade famine, the death penalty for minor thefts, the punishment of relatives for alleged crimes committed by members of their family thousands of miles away, capital punishment for young children, concentration camps with the population running into millions. The love affair with Stalin was even stronger in the UK than it was in the US. H. G. Wells, author of The Time Machine and The Invisible Man, War of the Worlds, was an enormous fan of Stalin and managed to get an interview with him in 1934. No mean feat. He told Stalin that "it seems to me, I'm more to the left than you." Meaning, if H. G. Wells is part of the Overton window, Stalin is basically a moderate. As he also put it, "I have never met a man more candid, fair, and honest," speaking of Stalin. "And it's to these qualities and to nothing occult and sinister that he owes his tremendous undisputed ascendancy in Russia."” Wow. 🤯

Lessons From A Communist Regime “The Soviet Union carried out a practice known as 'unpersoning', systematically erasing individuals from history as if they had never existed. Photos were manipulated to rewrite history. These alterations reshaped reality for millions, erasing people from memory and rewriting the narrative. Stalin’s Great Terror dismantled civil society, replacing trust with fear. As Orwell noted, the most frightening part of the Soviet trials wasn’t the terror itself, but how Western intellectuals justified it. They ignored falsified history, terror, and famine to preserve their ideals about communism.” – @michaelmalice ___ From Michael Malice’s course: The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union.

Trump says he wants to restart nuclear arms control talks with Russia and China and that eventually he hopes all 3 countries could agree to cut their defense budgets in half. “There’s no reason for us to be building brand new nuclear weapons, we already have so many,” Trump said. “You could destroy the world 50 times over, 100 times over. And here we are building new nuclear weapons, and they’re building nuclear weapons.” “We’re all spending a lot of money that we could be spending on other things that are actually, hopefully much more productive," Trump said. While the U.S. and Russia hold massive stockpiles of weapons since the Cold War, Trump predicted that China would catch up in their capability to exact nuclear devastation “within five or six years.” He said if the weapons were ever called to use, “that’s going to be probably oblivion.” Trump said he would look to engage in nuclear talks with the two countries once “we straighten it all out" in the Middle East and Ukraine. “One of the first meetings I want to have is with President Xi of China, President Putin of Russia. And I want to say, ‘let’s cut our military budget in half.’ And we can do that. And I think we’ll be able to.”

Thanks to Grok for the analysis: Here's an expansion on the cultural and moral impact of the 1930s radical movements on American intellectuals: Cultural Impact: - Literature and Art: The era saw a surge in proletarian literature, where authors like John Steinbeck ("The Grapes of Wrath") and Richard Wright ("Native Son") brought attention to the struggles of the working class, reflecting a cultural shift towards social realism and critique of capitalism. This was part of a broader movement where art was seen as a tool for social change, leading to the establishment of groups like the Federal Art Project, which emphasized art for the public good. - Film and Theater: The influence can be seen in the rise of politically charged theater, like the works produced by the Federal Theatre Project, which often depicted labor issues and class struggle. Films like "Salt of the Earth" (1954), though later, were direct descendants of this period's ethos, focusing on labor rights and social justice. - Music: Folk music, particularly through figures like Woody Guthrie and later Pete Seeger, became a vehicle for leftist messages, singing about the plight of the common man, unionization, and anti-fascism. This period helped shape the folk revival of the 1950s and 1960s. Moral Impact: - Moral Urgency: There was a palpable sense that change was not just desirable but morally necessary. This urgency was evident in the activism of intellectuals who saw themselves as part of a broader struggle for justice, leading to involvement in movements like civil rights, anti-war protests, and union organizing. - Crisis and Engagement: The '30s radicalism instilled a sense of perpetual crisis in intellectual circles, where engagement with contemporary issues was not just an academic exercise but a moral imperative. This led to a culture where intellectuals felt compelled to speak out and act on political and social injustices. - Personal Salvation through Collective Action: The idea that one's personal moral worth could be realized through collective action was prominent. This ethos can be seen in the personal narratives of many intellectuals who joined or supported Communist or socialist causes, viewing political activism as a path to personal redemption or fulfillment. Examples: - Ernest Hemingway: His involvement in the Spanish Civil War as a correspondent and participant reflected the moral urgency and crisis-driven engagement of the time. His work, like "For Whom the Bell Tolls," captures this blend of personal and political struggle. - Dorothy Parker: Known for her wit, she was also a vocal critic of fascism and an active supporter of civil rights, illustrating how the moral urgency of the era influenced personal activism. - The Popular Front: This was a broad coalition of leftist groups in the U.S. that included communists, socialists, and liberals, united against fascism. It exemplified the cultural and moral impact by bringing together diverse groups around shared humanitarian and political goals, influencing everything from art to activism. This period's legacy left an indelible mark on American intellectual culture, fostering a tradition where art, literature, and activism are intertwined with moral and political commentary.

I don’t know why but I always understood this “order of loves” intuitively. It does feel like absolute madness and it reminds me of a philosophy class I took in college on Ethics. The professor was arguing that we are morally obligated to donate money (for example) to people who are starving in other countries because he could find no moral argument against it. What was implied is this idea that if the suffering is more acute elsewhere, then the needs of your family should be sacrificed. You see similar things happening now and I feel like there’s some kind of Marxists thought behind it. “It’s morally right to cut off my racist family member or get in a fight with my wife because they voted for Trump.” “We must send more money to Ukraine, even if it hurts us, because Russia is doing bad things all over the world.” I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but it does feel like a kind of fanaticism related to Marxist ideologies.

Watching Christians attack the notion of the "order of loves" argued by @JDVance has been one of the most confounding events of self-deception I have seen in a long time. People who advance that the order of loves is not Christian are obviously condemning themselves. Am I to believe that these Christians do not feed their children before helping out at the homeless shelter, do not lock their doors when they are out, do not pay their electricity bills before they pay their neighbors'? What madness has possessed people?

Wow. Thank you @michaelmalice and @petersonacademy for making me want to vomit. 🤢🤮 What I really mean is thank you for exposing this piece from the New York Times published in 2017. There is also a book with the same title by the same author with a glowing review by O Magazine and 4.7 stars on Amazon: “A “brilliant,” “engaging,” and “valuable,” (Financial Times) exploration of why capitalism hurts women and how socialism, when done right, can bring economic independence, better labor conditions and, yes, even better sex. In Why Women Have Better Sex Under Socialism, acclaimed ethnographer Kristen R. Ghodsee argues that unregulated capitalism disproportionately harms women—at work, at home, in government, and in the bedroom. Having spent years researching what happened to women in countries that transitioned from state socialism to capitalism, Ghodsee claims that by rejecting the bad and salvaging the good, we can adapt some socialist ideas to the twenty-first century and improve our lives.   This book is a spirited, witty, and deeply researched exploration of why socialism—when done right—can lead to economic independence, better work life balance, and yes, even better sex. It's become increasingly clear to women that capitalism isn’t working for us, and Ghodsee is the informed, lively guide who can show us the way forward.” Can someone in the @usedgov please introduce proper education about communism, socialism, and Marxism to the American people?
