So the NIO have persuaded Minister Baker to apologise to RoI over the protocol. RoI has pressed for the imposition of barriers to NI consumers, driven costs of retail goods higher and used photos from the 70s in a misleading way. It is the people of NI who need matters put right.

@edwinpootsmla Don’t you want any form of peace to continue here? Remember the dark days of the troubles, I’m hearing language that was used 50 years ago! “Funeral”. Nice.

@edwinpootsmla @duponline The type of brexit Johnson wanted and the DUP supported raised the barriers you now decry. Own it.

@edwinpootsmla UK pushed for the imposition of barriers via brexit. That's fairly obvious. Ireland didn't ask for any of this and despite multiple warnings your party pressed ahead

@edwinpootsmla What's been the DUPs role in delivering Brexit which has in turn delivered the protocol?? As you collect your salary each month for not doing a hands turn think of those workers who are struggling, whose kids are hungry and cold. Shame on you and your party

@edwinpootsmla Do you ever say anything positive about anything that's outside the DUP's inherent, insular, inward looking, backward pedalling 1968 'bubble'? Just realised how silly that question is! 🤣
