EdgeCortixに経産省が40億円、オープンRAN向けAI半導体を開発 @NIKKEIxTECH AI（人工知能）半導体スタートアップのEdgeCortix（エッジコーティックス、東京・中央）は、新エネルギー・産業技術総合開発機構（NEDO）から40億円の助成金を受けた。次世代5G（第5世代移動通信システム）向けに電力効率を高めたAI半導体を開発する。台湾積体電路製造（TSMC）のプロセス技術を使って開発し、TSMC熊本工場への生産委託を視野に入れる。
