As a Dem: 1. If Trump supports something, I am against it under any and all circumstances. I expect the same from Democratic elected officials. 2. It is better to be ideologically correct, without compromise, than it is to sell one’s soul for an election.
My advice to the Dems. Stop being the resistance and start being for a better future. You’ll be far more successful saying yes we should cut the deficit but not this way. Yes DEI went too far but we do want schools and workplaces to feel safe and welcoming to all people including women, minorities and trans people. Be the party that wins the debate with more reason. Be more based. More honest. More authentic. Dont just be against everything that half the people just voted for. Else youre starting down by half and then competing to keep the half or less you had.
