In #education, as in other areas, we work very closely with other @UN entities & partners outside the system. A recent example is the Ministerial Meeting on Education (2024) organized jointly by #ECLAC, @AgendaCAF, @UNESCOSantiago, @uniceflac and @BancoMundial --@JoseMSalazarX.

For some time now, #ECLAC has been pointing out the challenges of inclusion, quality & relevance in the education systems of #LAC. We included “Effective education for all & wide access to vocational training” as one of the 1⃣1⃣vital transformations for the region: @JoseMSalazarX

Before the pandemic, #LAC was confronting a long-standing learning crisis and high levels of educational exclusion. The pandemic accentuated these educational challenges, but they also created an opportunity to innovate and transform education: @JoseMSalazarX at @UNECOSOC debate.

We are putting strong emphasis on dynamizing growth in #LAC. The real & effective use of digital technologies is crucial. We have very clear figures about the slow absorption of digital technologies in the region's micro & small enterprises: @JoseMSalazarX at @UNECOSOC meeting.
