When the internet is out??? We go “OLD SCHOOL”! Sonic menus from 2010. Add to find your total order, subtract from $30.00 for your change, and divide by 3 people to find each person’s share of the bill.

We were having a tough time grasping regrouping. Enter.. tiny money. They completely understood taking a $10 bill to the bank and exchange it for 10 $1. A $100 bill was easy as pie to exchange for 10 $10 bills. @SusanLoveless23 @EAG_LacyTallman @epps_season @AnnHaley_RCS

Place Value can be difficult to understand for some students. Relating it to money today seemed to do the trick. These little cash registers that held tiny, real looking, money were a big hit! @EAG_LacyTallman @SusanLoveless23 @epps_season
