Anna Brinker is our athlete of the week for basketball. Anna’s ability to play all five positions on the court was one of the reasons for the turnaround success that the Blue Devils had this season. Anna averaged 11.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, & 1.8 steals per game.

Jack Rogers is the athlete of the week for varsity football. On Friday night Jack led all running backs with 101 yards rushing on 17 carries. Defensively Jack had 9 total tackles, 3 for loss, forced a fumble, and had a key pass break up. Congrats Jack!

Tonight’s boys soccer state title is the 1st for section 6 since 2014, and only the 4th overall ever. The other state titles were won in class C and D, so this is the 1st title in any of the A or B classes in section history.

In the game Friday, he had 8 carries for 30 yds, 4 receptions for 42 yds & 1 receiving TD. He returned 2 kickoffs for a total of 76 yds & 1 punt for 35 yds. On defense, TJ chipped in with 1 INT and 2 Tackles.

The EAHS athlete of the week for track is Colin Cassidy. Colin is one of the senior captains who has had a great year so far. He has led his team to an undefeated season so far and has jumped 6' in the high jump, the school record is 6-2 and has run a 4:41 in the 1600 meter run.
