Nothing in the definition requires preparing as a caveat. Charcuterie boards, for example, do not require any cooking but they do take effort to organize. In this case, it refers to the care it takes to select things a picky toddler will eat that will travel well. But welcome!

I think people forget flight attendants are federal employees working on federal property, not maids and waiters. And though I wouldn’t treat the latter with disrespect either, you have to consider the power dynamic and possible consequences when confronting a federal employee.

I can see why you would think that. It’s an unlikely story because her behavior was so out of pocket. And have you considered the airline tells it employees not to publicly respond to customer complaints? Lots of companies have these provisions in their employee manual.
