On @SquawkCNBC @dougclinton talked custom silicon & called @Broadcom as another AI play. Only 2 companies have the network tech for both XPU to XPU & across clusters - $AVGO & $NVDA - critical for AI workloads - good call Doug.

Great thread Ivana. Cloudflare is a #Supercloud
Why is $NET up 20%+ post what seemed to be an inline quarter? There are three factors that I will dive deeper into in this thread: 1. Leading platform at a fraction of the $PLTR price 2. Beneficiary of DeepSeek & other cheap models 3. Short Squeeze & investors on sidelines

@sarbjeetjohal @awscloud @furrier @Craw @dfloyer @ShellyKramer One thing Sarb is I always forecast in constant currency. I've done this for the past 10 years - a practice I always used at IDC to smooth out forecasts and avoid having to predict FX. So my forecast of $29.1 was pretty much on target.

Earnings from $AMZN tonight. All eyes on @awscloud. I'm looking for $29.1B from AWS, a bit higher than consensus. Alphabet disappointed investors but lost was that GCP grew *significantly* faster than overall Google Cloud. Here are my Q4 and Annual estimates. @sarbjeetjohal

@sarbjeetjohal @IBM @ArvindKrishna @jonfortt Big year coming for ibm - SMLs, edge, infra, apps all get a boost from lower costs.

@sarbjeetjohal @RamaswmySridhar @furrier Yes the fundamentals are the same. Value is immense - more than anything we've seen before. And volume will still be king.

LOL @andrewrsorkin spent the weekend playing w @deepseek_ai & did some good reporting but never considered the implications of giving the CCP access to his Gmail.

@sarbjeetjohal @nvidia @furrier @PatrickMoorhead @Scobleizer @ryanshrout @nyike >>Lowers the denominator for enterprises, expands the TAM for infrastructure w a lower AI denominator, same for apps; bad news for closed source models. Sarb our Jan '23 prediction might be coming true :-)

@IvanaSpear This analysis is so right on the money Ivana. DeepSeek is a copy/paste with some really clever workarounds - well done them. But it just further underscores the massive opportunity for infrastructure & apps.

@mattwbaker @OpenAI @AnthropicAI Totally Agree. You've witnessed relentless price drops and efficiency improvements over the years Matt. Were you ever concerned that it would tank demand for compute, storage & networking? Do you feel that something has changed this time around?
