I really think that as part of the merger, the PGAT should turn the Waste Management Open over to LIV. This might be the only way to save this event.
Biggest difference with LIV is the entire event is over in 4.5 hours which will keep them from serving the crowd for 10+ hours.

What golf fans are finding out is….Majors are not really majors. They are just another golf event that makes the organizers a ton of money. You’d think a requirement to be a Major would include making sure you have the best in the world in your tournament.

Many of the LIV player have previously commented about how the team competition actually adds more pressure to them. When playing a normal tour event, bad play only hurts you but when you play bad on LIV you hurt your entire team….nobody wants to let their teammates down.
How Rahm kept from laughing at this question, I'll never know.
