Shell yeah! 🐢 No matter the conditions, @SeaTow is ready to search for cold-stunned turtles. When water temperatures fall below 50˚F, sea turtles become very weak and inactive from exposure to the cold. But the brutal temperatures in Texas didn’t stop Sea Tow Corpus Christi Owners Brandon Upton and Scott Gunvordahl from searching for cold-stunned sea turtles. They were able to find and rescue 15 turtles from Laguna Madre and delivered them to volunteers at the Texas Sealife Center. @kris6news shared all the details.
