Putin is saying what many of us have believed from the start. To be clear, I am not a Putin nor a Zelensky fan. And even though I do not agree with the war, I can also still understand why Russia has chosen to go to war. The expansion of NATO countries, the violations of Minsk agreements, the election meddling by the US are all reasons Russia feels they are being encroached upon aggressively. Just look at the NATO expansion map then tell me who the aggressor is. As to the NATO expansion, there was an agreement with Russia NATO countries would not expand east. Imagine China installing military bases in Mexico, how would the US treat this? To add, the US state department admitted to funding Bio-labs in Ukraine. The US was ready to go to war with Russia during Cuba missile crisis for wanting to put nuke weapons next door. After witnessing the effects of COVID, a virus can be as lethal as a nuke.
